IS FACIAL ACUPUNCTURE FOR EVERYONE?

Even though Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture is safe & beneficial for many, there are some cases where we don’t recommend it for patients:

Severe high blood pressure: it is acceptable when the blood pressure is under control and the patient is seeing a medical doctor
Severe migraines: patient needs to be free of migraine for 3 months. Until then, you can receive regular acupuncture treatments to eliminate your migraines!
Immediately after laser resurfacing: Please wait 3 weeks to receive facial acupuncture
Microdermabrasion: Please wait a week to receive facial acupuncture
Pregnancy
Colds or flu**
Acute herpes outbreak**
Acute allergic reactions**

**In the latter 3 instances, the patient may receive a facial acupuncture treatment once the condition has passed.
